We thought the Disney princess reimagination industry reached its apotheosis when they were turned into hot dogs, but somehow that wasn’t enough to stop the internet. Those princesses keep getting reimagined, and those reimaginations keep getting clicks. Slightly altered Disney princesses might be all that’s keeping the internet together these days. It might even be dangerous to stop reimagining them—it could grind the internet to a halt.
People keep trying, though. If the hot dogs didn’t kill this stuff dead, maybe cement mixers will? Because somebody did that. They turned the elegant Disney ladies into cement mixers. Insert self-satisfied joke headline about how “inspiring” these photographs are, about how they prove beauty comes in all shapes and sizes of cement mixers, about how this is “powerful.” Embrace the internet and all it encompasses. Give it a little hug, now. It loves you. And so do the Disney princess cement mixers.
