Last night, The X-Files returned to broadcast television (after a little delay from the NFC Championship Game) with a strong first entry in the new series with everything longtime fans were hoping for — a vast conspiracy, classic Mulder/Scully banter, plus the return of the original intro didn’t hurt to set the mood.
