Emmy Award-nominated comedian and SNL alum Leslie Jones announced her debut Netflix special a couple months back, and the full trailer is out now.
In Time Machine (dir. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss), Jones tell stories that are awkward, yet self-assured in recounting the wildest experiences from her youth. Jones recalls her compulsive behavior in her 20s and cracks self-deprecating one-liners about her adult life that leave the audience wondering if her awkward adolescence ever ended.
Her material is relatable for all ages: Older crowds can reminisce and compare war stories while the younger crowds laugh and remember her words for their next wild streak.
Leslie’s promotional material captures her carefree and goofy demeanor that makes the audience immediately comfortable in her presence. Time Machine launches globally on Netflix on Jan. 14.
