Italian Artist Compliments Historical Art With Contemporary Photos

Davide Trabucco, an Italian architecture student, uses design to connect two different time periods and artistic styles. In his Confórmi series, Trabucco cuts a historically significant painting or photograph diagonally and then completes it with a complimentary contemporary photograph. The result of his creativity is a cohesive art piece that fits together like a puzzle piece. Here are 10 of our favorite pieces from the collection.
