Over ten years ago, Julie Jackson was frustratedly wandering through a craft store, looking to release some anger on a doodad or two. She came upon the embroidery/cross stitching section, saw the possibilities outlined in the cute teddy bears and inspirational sayings, and decided to add her own wording instead: “Fuck.”
Since then, her creation has spawned a whole community of rude cross stitchers yearning to express themselves in the yarn world.
