As we announced in full recently, Brooklyn Brewery’s Mash tour is hitting the road again in 2016, with stops in nine world cities, including London, Stockholm, Chicago, Philadelphia, Paris, Washington D.C., Boston, Austin and New Orleans.
Next in the series is Philadelphia, August 25-28. As in every other iteration of The Mash on this tour, the festivities will be broken up into multiple events structured around a full weekend, celebrating themes of exploration and discovery.
Feast – Aug. 25
Each Mash begins with the Feast event, and Philadelphia’s will be held at Bing Bing Dim Sum (1648 E. Passyunk Ave.) and feature multiple courses, rare and exciting beers and an amazing culinary collaboration by Brooklyn Brewery Chef Andrew Gerson, Chef Ben Puchowitz and Chef Shawn Darragh. Free Show from Twin Peaks – Aug. 26
Brooklyn Brewery will present a free show from Paste favorite Twin Peaks on Friday, Aug. 26, with opening performances by Palmas and Philly’s own TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb, at Union Transfer. Doors are at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. Expect a thrilling show and a full bar stocked with Brooklyn Beer for everyone in attendance. To RSVP, click here.
Beer Mansion – Aug. 27
Beer Mansion is the weirdest, wildest, most unexpected beer festival yet, all for the price of a couple rounds. Ditch the long lines and fluorescent lights for an immersive room-by-room journey through the world of beer, complete with food, live music, games, prizes, and a handful of surprises. Your $20 ticket will get you access to beers from five different breweries; food from the Philly Mobile Food Association and Cholula Hot Sauce; music; and much more. Neighborhood Immersion: Fishtown and Northern Liberties – Aug. 28
Philly’s edition of the Brooklyn Mash’s Neighborhood Immersion feature will send participants on a self-guided tour through Fishtown & Northern Liberties, beginning at a pop-up bar called the Timberland Trailhead. A $25 ticket gets each participant a booklet of coupons, specials and discounts, which will include a meal at a selection of restaurants and beers at several quality beer bars. Locations will include potential lunch stops, coffee breaks, beer, record stores, yoga and more—the full Fishtown/Northern Liberties experience. Tickets are available here.
