New Belgium has created another ice cream inspired beer with Ben & Jerry’s. The beer, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ale, will hit the shelves this fall. The brewery will donate $50,000 of the proceeds from the beer to Protect Our Winters (POW), a non-profit raising awareness of climate change.

Sweet Action Ice Cream, out of Denver, partners with local breweries to make limited edition beer ice cream. Their latest is an Almond Lager Praline with Strange Craft Beer company.

Then there's The Ice Cream Bar, which creates boozy ice cream and sorbet with flavors like Bourbon Butter Pecan that reaches 8% ABV.

Brooklyn Brewery has an easy recipe for a beer float that includes two bottles of their Black Chocolate Stout, one pint of vanilla ice cream and a spiced Mexican chocolate bar. Pour the beer, carefully add the ice cream and use a grater to shave some spiced chocolate on top.
