It’s a standard fashion rule that one must match shoes and purse. Cacao-lab Milano makes following that rule simple to follow, as their chocolate shoes and purses complete any outfit with delectation. Situated in the capital of fashion, Milan, the chocolatiers make fashion-forward cioccolato in their Glamour line.
Regarding their inspiration, duo Cristiano and Baptiste say that their backgrounds influenced them to “unify fashion and the world of chocolate.” Cristiano has a background in make up and hair, while Baptise worked as an interior designer. “Furthermore,” explains Baptiste, “chocolate is a fascinating and pliable material. We’ve created a blend from the glamour of the runway and the exquisiteness of sweets. We live in Milan, the city of fashion. Inspiration can come from a color, a shape, an idea captured in a fashion collection or a design object: the bamboo handle of the Gucci bag; the shape of the Hermés Kelly; the bear of Moschino; the buckles, polka dots, flakes of Miu Miu shoes. Even our collections are seasonal.”
