Make desserts adorable and the people will come.
Such is the philosophy behind the Hello Kitty Cafe, a pink food truck that’s been hitting the highway to deliver sweets since 2014.
The cafe opened a pop-up Los Angeles outpost — one of the first of its kind in the States — in July to a strong fan base and lots of sold out treats. Hopefully this marks a shift toward cartoon restaurants in the U.S. — Hong Kong has a Hello Kitty dim sum restaurant and Taiwan has a Hello Kitty hot pot spot, so why can’t we?
The truck hasn’t finished its nationwide circuit yet. Catch the Hello Kitty Cafe truck at the following locations. For more tour news, keep up with the truck via Facebook or Instagram.
