Starting Oct. 29, Pokémon Centers in Japan are getting Mario Pikachu merchandise, the most adorable combination of Nintendo’s two biggest mascots. The items include plushies, Pokémon cards, playing cards, a notebook and a 3DS cover, all adorned with a Pikachu in Mario’s red and blue overalls and with that iconic mustache slapped on his face. There are also Luigi variants of the merchandise for those who are a little alternative when it comes to their Nintendo mascots.
In what is surely going to start an international incident, the merch items for God’s most perfect creature are currently Japan-exclusives, meaning they’re not coming Stateside. Some of the items, like the keychains and T-shirts, are exclusive to the Pokémon Center in Kyoto, but the rest will be available in Pokémon Centers throughout Japan.
For now, we’ll just have to be content looking at pictures of Mario Pikachu and begging anybody we know in Japan to ship them to us. Click through the gallery above to experience peak Nintendo.
