March 3, 2017 is the day. That’s when you’ll be able to hop into the latest version of Hyrule on the Nintendo Switch with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Nintendo announced the release date at the very end of tonight’s Nintendo Switch Presentation, confirming that it will indeed be a launch title for its new console after several delays. They did not mention if the game, originally scheduled for the Wii U before becoming a joint release on both consoles, would also release on Nintendo’s previous console that same day.
They also released a new trailer full of voice acting, something that Zelda games have mostly avoided in the past. You can watch that below.
