Super Mario Maker turned out to be one of 2015’s highlights for the troubled Wii U, but now the game is coming to its slightly more successful cousin.

During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced the straightforwardly titled Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS. The game will be nearly identical to its home console counterpart with select levels made by Wii U players being available for 3DS players to download. In an odd move, Nintendo said that “courses [made on the 3DS] can’t be shared online,” so it seems like if you want to share your Mario genius with the world, you’ll still need a Wii U. On 3DS, your sharing options are limited to being able to share levels locally to other players with a 3DS and their own copy of the game. There will also be 100 new levels designed by Nintendo included with the 3DS version.

Super Mario Maker has been one of the Wii U’s biggest hits, so moving it to the more popular 3DS more than a year after its initial launch means Nintendo is getting the best of both worlds.

Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS is set for release on Dec. 2.
