Titanfall 2 is out on October 28, 2016, and today EA released two new trailers that individually highlight the single-player and multiplayer portions of the game. The single-player trailer is probably of special interest to most players, as the first game had less of a single-player campaign than a weird solo version of the multiplayer game with a barely sketched plot delivered entirely in pre-match voice-over. Titanfall 2 appears to address criticisms about that, as this trailer hints at a story about a pilot and titan who team up without the proper military approval, no doubt angering the establishment and potentially endangering everything. It looks like it could be a love story, and if America’s ever been ready for a videogame about the forbidden love between a man and his massive robot death machine, it’s now. And if you only care about online play, the second clip above gives us a taste of the multiplayer action awaiting in Titanfall 2.
