The highly anticipated film A Wrinkle in Time wrapped up shooting this weekend, and director Ava DuVernay (Selma, 13th) shared some film stills and production photos on Twitter. A Wrinkle in Time is the film adaptation of the beloved 1963 young adult science fiction book by Madeleine L’Engle. Though it was written more than 50 years ago, the classic is still read and reread by children and adults alike. To say we’ve been eagerly awaiting any kind of photos from the set would be an understatement—see the full collection via DuVernay’s Twitter posts below.
The film has a star-studded cast that includes Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Oprah Winfrey, Andre Holland (Moonlight), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Beyond the Lights), Rowan Blanchard (Girl Meets World), Storm Reid (12 Years a Slave) and Chris Pine, among others. A Wrinkle in Time is set to debut on April 6, 2018—unfortunately, a little over a year away. We hope DuVernay keeps the photos coming in the interim.
