In honor of National Coming Out Day, Sony Pictures Classics has released a clip from their forthcoming romantic drama Call Me By Your Name that is less a glimpse into the film’s story and more an opportunity to watch Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet dance.
The clip, which mostly consists of one continuous shot of Hammer, then Chalamet, dancing, contains no words, just fun music and glossy visuals. Director Luca Guadagnino clearly revels in this moment, allowing us merely to look at the two actors.
The film, which finds Hammer falling in love with the much younger Chalamet in Italy in the 1980s, is already generating Oscar buzz, as it premiered at Sundance before going on to other film festivals. You can read our review from its showing at the New York Film Festival here.
Call Me By Your Name releases on Nov. 24.
