It’s been awhile since we saw Bruce Willis in a role that allows him to reach his full potential. He’s working on Glass, an M. Night Shyamalan film that will expand on the Unbreakable universe, but we’ll have to wait until its 2019 release for that one. Judging by its trailer that was released today, Death Wish, originally made in 1974, appears to be the film that will give us a nice dose of Bruce in all his pursed-lipped, tight-shirted glory.

Directed by Eli Roth, an actor/director perhaps most recognizable for his role in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, the film stars Bruce Willis as Paul Kersey, a man whose wife was murdered and daughter sexually assaulted during a home invasion. Kersey, an emergency room surgeon, decides to take the law into his own hands. Basically, it’s like Taken, but good.

The film also stars Vincent D’Onofrio, Elisabeth Shue, Dean Norris and Sway Calloway of The Wake Up Show. The 1974 film starred the notoriously rugged Charles Bronson as Kersey, and Willis looks to fill his shoes well.

Death Wish will be in theaters Nov. 22. Watch Willis kick ass as your not-so-friendly neighborhood vigilante above.
