It’s been thirty years since Ferris gave middle-of-the-road mischief makers some onscreen wish fulfillment in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Sure, in real life adults are probably not quite that stupid (then again…), but the movie gives us director John Hughes—not to mention star Matthew Broderick—at the height of his powers, so let’s spend a few minutes appreciating.
