Disney has officially announced that a sequel is in the works to follow its Oscar-nominated 2012 movie Wreck-It Ralph, in which a “bad guy” videogame character sets out to become a hero.

The news came via a Disney Facebook Live session in which they showed off the first piece of concept art for the film. They later tweeted the image along with the announcement. The image teases a little of the plot, with Ralph and Vanellope standing like giants in a cyber city full of logos of the most recognized internet platforms.

John C. Reilly, the voice of Ralph, teased the plan for a sequel earlier this year, which was unconfirmed by Disney until now. “It’s top secret but I’ll tell you this much… Ralph leaves the arcade and wrecks the Internet,” said Reilly. “What could go wrong?”

Rich Moore will return to co-direct with Phil Johnston, who is credited as a writer on the first film. Disney is surely expecting a high return, with Wreck-It Ralph earning $189 million in the U.S. and $500 million worldwide, making it the 12th-highest earning movie of 2012. Wreck-It Ralph 2 is slated for a March 9, 2018 premiere.
