The record label that gifted with us artists ranging from the Cocteau Twins to The Pixies, TV on the Radio and Bon Iver unleashed a trio of newly signed artists in a pair of shows split between its homebase of London and NYC. The latter 4AD Revue took place at Irving Plaza last Wednesday, and was frankly pretty damn great. From Long Island, The Lemon Twigs—whose jangly ‘70s rock electrified The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last week—played tracks from their debut LP Do Hollywood, slated for October 14th. English dark dance popper Pixx has her first album slated for 2017, while Australian trio Methyl Ethel are prepping their sophomore LP. Paste photographer Drew Reynolds was there to capture the celebration and new music.
