Photo Ops is the pensive alt-pop project of Terry Price. An artist with a great deal of past tragedies to overcome – his late father battled schizo-affectedness disorder, and he himself has had to deal with a bout of Bell’s palsy which temporarily paralyzed half of his face – Price has turned to music as a catharsis to purge himself of his past traumas.

The Nashville artist is releasing his sophomore record, Vacation, on February 5 via Bad Friend Records, and we have the exclusive premiere of his track “Memories That Glow.”

The deceptively dreamy track tackles Price’s need to escape from his past hurts and begin something new, as he calls out for freedom in a kind of swan song for his pain.

“This song is about being haunted by the past and needing a vacation,” said Price. “Things can get very strange in your head, and you never know how to balance dwelling on the past and trying to learn something from it with just moving on. I guess for me, expressing this very thing when I’m feeling it allows me to move the fuck on.”
