Beirut just released a new video for the first single and title track off their forthcoming album, “No No No,” to be released on Sept. 11 via 4AD. Heavily influenced by frontman Zach Condon’s newfound love, No No No is set to be a sunny, energetic album whose “caffeinated exuberance” is evident in the video. Bathed in pastels, the band plays on a beach-like stage reminiscent of American Bandstand, subbing out traditional instruments for some creative alternatives and giving a charmingly droll performance.
Beirut will debut the new material during an intimate show at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom this Sunday. Tickets go on sale today. This is just one of many shows the band will be playing in North America and Europe through November. A full list of tour dates can be seen here.
