Let the excitement spill over: One of the most anticipated albums of 2015 is here! Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance, the ninth album from the Scottish indie pop group Belle & Sebastian, can now be heard over at NPR. This is the band’s first album since 2010’s Write About Love, and lead singer Stuart Murdoch has said that it’s written from the perspective of a ‘young woman named Allie.’

Paste will have more reaction to the album later today, but in the meantime, NPR describes the work as “light on its feet, without sacrificing the thoughtful, careful precision at its core.” Make of that what you will. Or, better yet, listen to the album yourself. NOW!
