Cloud Cult has never done things the regular way—and that’s never been more true than it is with their new album, The Seeker, which is also a movie. Cloud Cult songwriter Craig Minowa wrote the script for the film, which stars Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother, Liberal Arts). Both the movie and album will be released Feb. 12, but you can listen to the exclusive premiere of one of the songs, “Through the Ages,” in the player above.
Fans who purchase an All Access Pass at www.cloudcult.com/seeker can watch “chapters” of the film and listen to new songs from the album every Friday. All of the merchandise surrounding the project (released on the band’s own Earthology Records) will be made from 100% postconsumer recycled or organically grown material with profits donated to the band’s environmental nonprofit Earthology Insititute.
