One generally expects legible words from a lyric video. Danny Brown evidently decided to eschew clarity in favor of artistic mayhem in the lyric video he just released for his Atrocity Exhibition hit “Really Doe.”
Fuzzy, light red words creep over a background of flashing images with bizarre color balances. The footage is mostly taken from concerts: each rapper featured gets a cameo shot as his verse begins.
Enjoy “Really Doe” above. But don’t watch too closely; you’ll strain your eyes. You can also watch Brown’s equally gripping “Pneumonia” video here.
