Squidbillies, the animated comedy following the misadventures of an anthropomorphic Georgian squid family, will return in all of its unholy glory this Sunday, July 10, at 11:30 p.m. EST.

As per tradition, the show’s creators have tasked several musicians with covering the show’s outlaw-country theme song, including Sharon Van Etten, Kurt Vile, The B-52’s, Jimmy Cliff and Rebecca Schiffman.

Today, Adult Swim has shared Father John Misty’s take on the theme. Listen below to hear how potentially great a country-tinged FJM record could be.

Previously, Neko Case, Lambchop, Alabama Shakes and King Khan and the Shrines have also covered the theme.
