In college-town bars nationwide there is an all-too-predictable moment in the night when the DJ stops the music just long enough for the drunken horde to scream “WHOAAA LIVING ON A PRAYERRR.”
In most cases, they aren’t yelling the lyrics to Bon Jovi because they actually like the band, they’re just wasted college kids who are vaguely connected with the ’80s and ’90s songs they grew up hearing. Regardless, the collegiate masses have a very strange collection of songs to represent their years at school. We’ve grouped and categorized some of the most popular anthems (and have regretfully started humming “Living On A Prayer” repeatedly).
