Jack White released on Wednesday the latest and final preview into his forthcoming album Boarding House Reach, a song titled “Ice Station Zebra.” The single comes just days before the future album’s March 23rd release. White’s highly anticipated third solo album, Boarding House Reach has so far been previewed by five released track: “Over and Over and Over,” “Connected By Love,” “Respect Commander,” “Corporation” and now “Ice Station Zebra.”
“Ice Station Zebra” is another funky tune off the forthcoming album, with hard-hitting bass-lines driving the rhythm to White’s familiar bright guitar. Synthesizers, keys and shutter-type sound effects help accent the dance-worthy single.
The veteran musician from Detroit recently announced that he will celebrate the release of his forthcoming album (Third Man/Columbia Records) by performing in three “intimate” record-release shows in Brooklyn, London, and Los Angeles. The Live Nation Concert Series’ Twitter page is set to live-stream the first show out of the three record-release performances, at Warsaw in Brooklyn, sponsored by Governors Ball, which White is also headlining on June 1.
As with all of White’s upcoming performances, these shows will be no phones allowed events.
