Yesterday wrapped the third year of KAABOO Del Mar, a three-day San Diego music fest that also spins in presentations from celebrity cooks and some top-tier comedy stand-up. Throughout the weekend, Amy Harris has captured the weekend, including pictures of Patton Oswalt, Kesha, Red Hot Chili Peppers, P!nk, Jane’s Addiction, Norm MacDonald, Garbage and more. The festival curates a breezy blend of classic alt-rock (yes, I hate myself for typing that, too) mainly harvested from the late ‘90s, alongside timeless veterans, and Sunday’s lineup didn’t contradict that approach. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers punctuated a day featuring Alanis Morissette, Pete Yorn, Fishbone and T-Pain(!?). It was a Gen-X playground and pleasant way to close out summer festival season.
