Jim Brown, Cornel West, Jill Stein and The Roots were among the luminaries at “Keep the Promise,” an event at the Wolstein Center at Cleveland State University on Sunday, July 17. A free music concert, the event – hosted by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation – also featured soulful discussion on income inequality and white supremacy in the United States as well as the AIDS crisis in Africa.
