Shoegaze has always been a genre revered by critics, but in the time since the genre’s most pivotal bands retired their feedback petals a whole generation of indie artists have copped the distinct sound.

My Bloody Valentine released a self-titled album in 2013 after a 22 year hiatus and now Lush are joining the shoegaze revival following the announcement of their first new EP in 20 years, Blind Spot, out April 22.

The band shared the four song EP’s opening track today with a video directed by Martin Masai Andersen and Kim Thue.
