Mac DeMarco will release what he’s calling a “mini-album,” Another One, on Aug. 7 via Captured Tracks (pre-order here), and today he gave us an advance taste with a new single called “The Way You’d Love Her.” The song is quintessential DeMarco—with a bright, vacation-y tone complete with the vaguely Hawaiian vibe of what sounds like a lap slide guitar. Behind it all, DeMarco’s slightly muted vocals, casual and enigmatic as always, carry the melody along like a slow-rolling wave. Take a listen here:
