Another Osheaga weekend has come and gone, and while I’m personally still recovering from the inevitable dust inhalation at Parc Jean-Drapeau, I had an absolute blast. I was hypnotized by The Chemical Brothers’ insane graphics and lights show, wiped away tears during Francis and the Lights’ performance, and cheered alongside thousands of audience members at Janelle Monae’s set during her many costume changes.
As Lizzie Manno wrote in her essay, this year’s Osheaga festival in Montréal, Quebec truly captured the hearts of both Millennials and Gen Z-ers, and I was able to capture the hearts (and faces) of some of the artists behind-the-scenes.
