British singer-songwriter Sampha has worked with the likes of Drake, Frank Ocean and Beyoncé, all without ever releasing a full-length album of his own. The London-based artist is currently on his way to change that with Process, the forthcoming debut album that has yet to receive a release date. Additionally, Sampha has released a hauntingly beautiful debut video for single “Blood On Me.”
Directed by Alex Lill, the clip, Sampha’s first as a solo artist, features a wheat field, an abandoned greyhound track and a car ensnared in the clutches of a tree, by which Sampha is ultimately consumed. As exquisite and alluring as the song itself, the aesthetically pleasing video is a must-see. Watch it above, and watch Sampha’s recent solo TV debut here.
