This month marks the beginning of a tour cycle to promote my new record Buzzards Boy. My band was picked to support the fabulous Mynabirds of Omaha and so far sunshine and female energy have played a big part of the trip. As have camera phones!

I love the colors and character of this sign for Modern Times cafe in Minneapolis. I tried to take some of this cape wearing panache on with me on to Des Moines.

Stretching out by the highway. The rest stops on I-80 in Ohio kinda look like nice high schools, so we fake tailgate when someone goes in to pee.

First day of Summer. No soundcheck, no problem. Before rocking Cleveland, friends of ours took us waterskiing on Lake Erie which is a great way to prep for a show.
