Shaky Knees 2019 Portraits: Cage the Elephant, Japanese Breakfast, Foxing and more

In what feels like the blink of an eye, another Shaky Knees weekend is over.

Concert goers flocked to Atlanta’s Central Park in both rain and shine for the 7th annual Shaky Knees Festival. While this year’s headliners included the alt-radio hero Beck and psych-rock outift Tame Impala, many would probably agree that the gems of the show were the rising indie artists who played mostly during the day. Shaky Knees does an excellent job of shedding light on up-and-coming talent, something they do consistently year after year. We captured many of these fresh faces here in our gallery. Don’t worry, you’ll find indie mainstays like Grouplove, Foals and Cage the Elephant too.

You can find our favorite sets of the weekend here, along with our daily recaps: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

And now, we wait (impatiently) for Shaky Knees 2020.
