Last week, Australian auteur Sia played at Barclays Center in Brooklyn as part of her Nostalgic For the Present Tour. The performance artist and musician stuck to the back of the stage while ornate choreography unfolded forestage. Screens on both sides of the space played pre-recorded video to support the live drama. Choreography for songs “Elastic Heart” and “The Greatest” (her encore) were performed as closely to their music video counterparts without the actual sets—Sia even sang “Soon We’ll Be Found” while signing.
