Netflix has had a number of hit original series over the past few years, but one of their latest shows that has hit bigger than most is fan-favorite Stranger Things, which premiered on July 15 to widespread critical and audience acclaim. The debut season of the show focuses on a boy who goes missing in a rural Indiana town, with supernatural forces involved in his disappearance.
The score for the show, which was composed by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein of the band S U R V I V E, is one of the many aspects that make the show so special. It was announced yesterday on the series’ Facebook page that the show’s soundtrack will be released “soon.” In addition, S U R V I V E has an LP of their own original material coming out on Sept. 30 titled RR7349. Be on the lookout for that one, as well.
