A Day in the Life: Hell Yes Paste Got Tattoos with The Hunna in Cincinnati

Since the feature’s inception, Paste’s Day in the Life photo essays were designed to show the activities that fill a band’s time between when its tour van lands in another strange city and when it leaves. That time can be spent doing anything from shooting hoops and watching hilariously bad DVDs to playing billiards over some beers, but photographer Amy Harris put us all to shame by not only capturing an epic tattoo session with British indie rockers The Hunna, but joining them in some skin staining.

Last week, Harris caught the group’s trip to Beelistic Tattoo in Cincinnati before opening for Jimmy Eat World at Bogarts. The Hertfordshire, England-based band is currently touring behind 100, released last month on High Time Records. The quartet also stopped by Paste Studios last June to play an acoustic version of single “You and Me.”
