Denver-based folk band The Lumineers may be considered an emerging band, but they have definitely already left a mark with their self-titled debut album. We had anticipated the group’s debut album since last year, making our Best New Bands of 2011 list.
With all the hype for this front-porch, foot-stomping act, it’s no surprise that their stop in Evanston, Ill., was a busy one. Check out photos from the day we spent with The Lumineers at a HearYa blog session in Chicago and a packed free, radio-sponsored show before they took the stage again to a sold-out crowd at Evanston’s SPACE.
