Paste is proud to partner with The Lumineers to give away tickets to their massive upcoming tour.
In just a few short years, the band has graduated from small rooms to arenas across the world, and to celebrate, they’re sharing some of their favorite memories and photos from their early days as a touring group in the gallery above.
But they want to hear from you, too. Once you’ve checked out their memories, send your own favorite story about or experience with The Lumineers to lumineersstories@pastemagazine.com or submit it here to be entered to win tickets to one of the US shows on their upcoming tour. Be sure to include your name and address in the email.
The Lumineers themselves will be reading through the entries and selecting three winners (who will each receive two tickets to a US show on the tour). The deadline to enter is midnight on Jan. 13, and the winners will be announced on Jan. 16.
Check out the tour dates below, as well as our own favorite Lumineers memory—their performance at our SXSW party in 2012—here.

"This one was from a live show that was filmed in a cozy and hot New Orleans house—they were kind enough to serve us homemade gumbo afterwards."

"This was shot on the day our first album came out—we were in Seattle, and had just played the morning show at KEXP, the first station to play our music. It was the start of three years of touring."

"A setlist from SXSW 2011 (Austin, TX). We had played about 12 shows in three days (Including one for Paste!) While playing, I must have nicked my hand on the floor tom, making my hand bleed. The setlist Wes had written on this scrap of paper provided a quick towel."

"Seco Pearl, Taos, NM 2010. Our first gig on our first ever tour. We slept on the floor after the show, in a small room above the venue, and kittens ran around the room, on top of our sleeping bags all night."
5 of 10
"Mississippi Studios, Portland, OR 2011. While recording our first record, we would drive four hours from the studio every Sunday to play at Mississippi Studios in Portland. They fed us burgers and beer, for which we were very grateful."

"UMS, Denver, CO 2010. Denver hosts the Underground Music Showcase, featuring Denver's vibrant music scene. In 2010, we played a small gallery on South Broadway. My dad called me the next day to tell me we had gotten a small mention in The Denver Post; this was very exciting."

"Biggest Little City Club, Reno, NV 2010. We begged a bachelorette party to stay for our set, but they left half way through, and we ended up outnumbering the audience members."
8 of 10
"The Meadowlark, Denver, CO 2010. Wes and Jer went to the open-mic just about every Tuesday night, and we eventually played one of our first gigs together at The Meadowlark."

"Los Angeles, CA 2012. On set for the 'Ho Hey' video shoot."
