Earlier this month, punk teen quartet The Regrettes unleashed Feel Your Feelings Fool!, a manic and deceptively elegant volley of girl group harmonies and Ramones-sculpted songwriting. It’s an auspicious opening salvo released on a major label, Warner, recorded when the group had recently formed. Paste photographer Courtney Coles spent some time with the band on two separate occasions. The first set of pictures in the gallery above comes from the group’s raucous release party at The Echo on January 17th. Coles later met up with members Lydia Night, Genessa Gariano, Sage Chives and Maxx Morando for the band’s performance and signing at Amoeba Music last Thursday. The Regrettes are playing select dates in California throughout February.
