On the heels of their 2014 Juno-winning sophomore album We Still Move on Dance Floors, The Strumbellas have spread their infectious sound past the Canadian border with last spring’s breakthrough LP, Hope. Based in Toronto, the “folk popgrass” six-piece revels in tunes hand-crafted for wall-to-wall dancing, clapping crowds. That fact couldn’t have been more evident during The Strumbella’s sold-out performance at The Bowery Ballroom last week, which had the audience singing along for the entire show. Photographer Drew Reynolds captured the rollicking good time via the gallery above. The Strumbellas are currently on tour.
