Screen legend and Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker was Paste's 2013 Man of the Year in Film. In a year that many dubbed The Year of Black Cinema, he was a key part of two of the most provocative and thoughtful black films in recent memory, starring in The Butler and producing Fruitvale Station.
