Last week’s Treasure Island Music Festival—its tenth anniversary—was marred by some, um, inclement weather and equipment-toppling wind, leading to cancellations from artists Flight Facilities and Duke Dumont. That said, 11 of the 13 Saturday sets made it despite some shifting set lengths, while all of Saturday’s acts performed. And what remained, though torrentially wet and slightly disheveled, was a damn fine lineup of predominantly indie and dance rock, punctuated with some nice outliers including San Fran’s own black metal ambassadors Deafheaven, Oakland MC Kamaiyah and quirky folk upstart Mac DeMarco. Photographer Jay Demetillo captured the event in the gallery above.
