Photographer Sarah Hess spent last weekend in New Orleans, ushering in Samhain with Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, more commonly known as Voodoo Fest. The annual gathering invited an even cross-section of dance, arena rock, Americana and hip-hop luminaries for one last park-bound music celebration before the dropping temperatures seal off festival season for the year. Between storming the photo pit to capture the likes of Foo Fighters, LCD Soundsystem, Brand New, The Head and the Heart and many, many more bands, Hess also ventured behind the scenes for a series of portraits with the likes of Vintage Trouble, Marian Hill, Dillon Francis, Bleached and Ron Gallo. Appropriately, many of the bands dressed up for the occasion, with special kudos going to Bleached and a Bojack Horseman-adored Pell. Check out the full gallery above as well as photos from Day One, Day Two and Day Three of Voodoo Fest.
