For months now, Weezer has been releasing cryptic teaser trailers onto YouTube in anticipation of their forthcoming album Everything Will be Alright In The End. And while those snippets haven’t given us much, today we got our first taste of the new album with the release of the song “Back To The Shack.”
Weezer’s first new music since 2010, Everything Will be Alright In The End was produced by Ric Ocasek, the brains behind The Blue Album. The band will embark on tour later this week, stopping by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on July 23 for the song’s television debut.
Everything Will be Alright In The End is available for preorder now and will be released Sept. 30 via Republic Records.
