Description
This is my first single. I wrote it as a reaction to the lockdown lifting. As an extroverted introvert, I enjoyed having regular Zoom and phone calls and a very structured social life that I could depend on. When the lockdown lifted, people went back to their regular busy lives and I had to struggle to get back into the world and force myself to be social. During the lockdown, on the calls, people's guards were down and they were more genuinely themselves; When we return to "normal," we have to put on our masks of other's people's expectations of who we are and how we should behave.
