Description
Born in the thick of the sticks John Boom (real name Coltrane Roberts) grew up in a real Delta blues setting; farming for tobacco during the hot steamy days and playing the blues into the early brushes of the morning. He rarely makes appearances in venues but has a remarkable 7 studio albums in the duration of two years. Recording solely in analog, he gets his bluesy tones, psychedelic drones and swampy reverb symphonies all on cassette tape in his studio laboratories better known as Burnt Orange Records.
