Everyone in life experiences loss. My primary experience with loss came on April 21, 2005 when my mother lost her battle with cancer after six months of fighting and treatment.

This album is about loss. And when we experience loss, we grieve. I wrote this album to help all of us grieve. These steps of grief are something everyone goes through in their own way.

So whether it is an actual loss of life, experiencing a divorce, losing a job, being diagnosed with an illness of your own, or just experiencing a loss due to unmet expectations this album is for us all.
