Following up protests that numbered in the hundreds of thousand isn’t an easy thing to do, but the organizers behind the Women’s March are absolutely going to try.
On Wednesday, March 8, the group is holding “A Day Without a Woman” which is coinciding with International Women’s Day. There are no announced plans yet for the events, but the group has said it’s going to share more info in the upcoming weeks.
Since President Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20, and the wide-scale protests the following day, organizers behind the Women’s March have been working in local communities to ensure that there is political engagement in all levels of government.
